RVA 301 American Lager: This yeast produces a dry and clean profile characteristic of the American lager. Minimal sulfur and diacetyl production.

Flocculation: Medium
Attenuation: 75-80%
Suggested fermentation temperature: 50-55º F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium (8 %)


 RVA 302 München Lager:  At 55º F this will produce a clean malty beer in the German tradition.  Raise the fermentation temp to (65ºF) and this yeast produces the beers famous to San Francisco, known as “California Common”. It is unique in tolerating higher temperatures (65ºF) while maintaining a delicious flavor profile.

Attenuation: 75-80%
Suggested fermentation temperature: 58-65º F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium-High (12%)


RVA 303 Oktoberfest Lager: Bock-style lager yeast that accentuates maltiness.

Attenuation: 65-73%
Suggested fermentation temperature: 52-58º F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium-High (12%)

RVA 304 Czech Lager: Produces dry, crisp lagers made famous in the Czech Republic. Low diacetyl production.

Attenuation: 75-80%
Suggested fermentation temperature: 50-55º F
Alcohol Tolerance: Medium (8%)
